Summer Weekend Youth Camp for Muslim Association of Hawaii

AnnouncementsThere will be a Summer Weekend Program for the Youth of the Muslim Association of Hawaii. The program will begin on June 10th and end on July 30th. The program is open to boys and girls, ages 12 and up.
The program will on the weekends, Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM to 2 PM. The program will include Islamic teachings in Quran, Hadith, Shariah, and other activities such as hking, sports, camping, and various field trips to places of interest.

Reading about your summer camp program and it's desire to visit places of interest, I would like to reccommend that you visit the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art house (Shangri La) located in Honolulu. That is definitely on the list for places to visit! The Imam already mentioned that and I will remind him in advance to ensure he schedules the activity. I believe he is looking for people to sign up for the camp first before proceeding with any additional coordincation.
