Islamic Poetry

The young and courageous swiftly lift arms of rage

While the wise men sit in silence

They quietly turn pages to mark our place

Passing knowledge to ears that listen

Patience and desire are ill bedfellows

Dull the sword; polish the mind

The learned wise will fight in due time

For they must know the battle already fought
